StudioOS — Privacy Policy

Effective: September 10, 2026

StudioOS is a private, invitation-only internal tool used by one small app studio to run its own work. It is not offered to the public, there is no sign-up, and it holds no data belonging to anyone outside the studio.

Who uses it

The studio operator and a small number of people the operator has personally created logins for. Nobody else can reach it.

TikTok data, and why we read it

StudioOS reads data only for TikTok accounts the studio itself owns and operates, and only after the account holder signs in through TikTok's own authorization screen and grants permission. We request three permissions: basic profile information (open id, display name, avatar), account statistics (follower count and similar totals), and the list of that account's own public posts with their public view, like, comment and share counts.

We use it for exactly one thing: to show the studio how its own posts performed, so a person who posts can be paid for the results they produced. We do not read anyone else's account, anyone's private data, direct messages, or the content of other people's posts.

What we store, and where

Follower counts, post identifiers and public engagement counts for the studio's own accounts, plus the access tokens needed to keep reading them. Everything is held in a private Postgres database (Supabase, EU region) reachable only by the studio's own logins. Nothing is sold, shared, published, or given to advertisers, and no data is used to train models.

Revoking access

Any connected TikTok account can withdraw permission at any time from TikTok's own settings, or by asking the studio to disconnect it. When access is withdrawn we stop reading that account and delete its stored tokens.
